The Smart CMM Solution
The Smart series of shop floor CMMs are designed specifically for use on the production floor to accommodate the measurement of small to medium size manufactured parts. Machines are equipped with linear bearing guide-ways in all axes providing extreme accuracy with the ruggedness necessary for the shop environment. Built to machine tool standards Smart has the ability to pace production while providing the precision of dedicated gages at an affordable price.
Xtreme CMMs
The LH series of Xtreme Gantry CMMs are designed to accommodate the measurement of large volume manufactured parts. Machines are equipped with air bearing guideway systems in all axes providing frictionless and wear-free operation.
The X rail, Y beam and Z ram are all manufactured from dark granite to achieve identical thermal behavior of all axes. Optional Thermal Compensation allows CMM accuracy to be maintained in less than perfect temperature conditions.
The Z axis pneumatic counterbalance is capable of hold the Z ram in any position regardless of probe weight. The granite table is finely lapped according to DIN 876/0. The machine structure is designed as a self-stabilizing, homogeneous unit with integrated active pneumatic vibration dampers eliminating the need for a foundation.
Horizontal Arm CMMs
The RAF Plus series of Horizontal Arm rail style CMM are designed for shop-floor installation and are equipped with machine tool grade linear guideway in the X axis; the Y and Z axes feature finely tuned preloaded roller bearings providing minimum friction and wear-free operation. The Z axis mechanical counterbalance is capable of holding the Z ram in any position regardless of probe weight. The X axis guide system is protected by bellows or can be supplied with walkable covers for floor level installations. The RAFplus features high performance drive systems for high speed CNC measuring cycles.
